Queen of the flute

Jane Rutter has managed to do what very few classical artists are able to do: cross over into the mainstream.

Jane is widely regarded as one of the most entertaining and versatile flautists in the world and she will be in Byron next week, June 11, to perform her latest show, Queen of the Flute.

Jane has created a concert of the most loved pieces from her best selling albums, including her own arrangement of Ravel’s Bolero, Katchatourian’s Sabre Dance, the Irish hit I Dreamt that I Dwelt in Marbled Halls, He Aint Heavy He’s my Brother, Phil the Fluters Ball,Gershwin, Mozart, Debussy and more.

She will be accompanied by young concert pianist Christopher Cartner.
