Pride beats bowls

Looking for something a bit different on a Sunday afternoon? Something funky? Then check out Beats, Bowls & Bingo at the South Lismore Bowling Club, South Lismore, this Sunday, March 28, from 1-7pm.

It’s an afternoon for all the family, where you can groove along to the ‘phattest house’ and ‘nu disco’ with DJs Lady K, Elscorcho and 1iSAMURAi. And you can enjoy the beats while having a game of bowls, or bingo, a munch on a cheese sandwich from the Wheel-of-Cheese, and be in the running for some fine prizes (like soap-on-a-rope or perhaps a nice crocheted coat hanger).

As well, there’s traditional bowlo tucker – sausage sangers, vegie burgers, etc.

This month’s Beats, Bowls & Bingo is also the ACON Northern Rivers launch of the Wear It With Pride campaign ( www.wearitwithpride.com.au).

Entry is $10/5 ($25 family).
