Police renew bid to solve Richmond Hill assault and robbery

POLICE have renewed their appeal for information over a home invasion and robbery at Richmond Hill last month.

About 1am on Sunday, November 17, police were called to an address on Richmond Hill Rd after reports three people had been assaulted and a car had been stolen.

Officers found two men aged 74 and 49 and a woman aged 55 suffering severe facial and head injuries.

Police were told two men entered the residence and assaulted the two men before restraining one man with cable ties.

The men then loaded up a white Holden Commodore sedan with items from the house.

Police believe the two men also stole electrical items and radio equipment from nearby premises.

The three injured people were taken to Lismore Base Hospital.

Anyone who saw the white Commodore, registration TBA 699, in the Lismore or Glen Innes areas on November 17 is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
