Police identify Pimpama body as missing 12yo

A BODY found on the banks of the Pimpama River has been identified as a missing 12-year-old girl from Marsden. 

Tiahleigh Palmer was last seen a week ago at a Marsden educational facility.

An Investigation Centre has been established at the Logan Police Complex as detectives continue to investigate the matter.

Police are appealing to the public to come forward if they were in the vicinity of the bridge over the Pimpama River on Kerkin Road North within the last seven days.

Detectives are also appealing to anyone who may have seen any people or vehicles that appeared suspicious or out of place, to contact them.
