Police fear for toddler abducted in north Queensland

Police believe two-year-old Oliver Steer may be at risk after being abducted from Edmonton this afternoon.

A man was seen putting the boy into a car at a Wiseman Road address around 2:05pm.

Oliver is described as Caucasian, with olive skin, light brown hair, brown eyes and is about 100cm tall with a large build.

He was last seen wearing a white and grey Thomas the Tank Engine t-shirt with a red collar, blue denim shorts and Thomas the Tank Engine sandals.

The man is described as Caucasian, 181cm tall with a medium build, light brown hair, brown eyes and last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black running shorts, black running shoes and a dark coloured backpack.


The car is described as being a silver, 1998 Ford Falcon sedan, with Queensland registration number 726-TYN. The vehicle has a small "Genesis" sticker on the rear window and was last seen heading south on the Bruce Highway, south of Ingham.
