Pitch it up

Reckon you’ve got a good idea for a film or television project? Do you want to get on stage and pitch it to a panel of screen industry heavyweights?

Then you need to get involved with Screenworks annual pitching competition.

In the lead up to the competition which will be held in September, Screenworks is holding a development clinic next Tuesday, May 18, to help refine your epic masterpiece. The clinic is being run by Anne Chesher, an experienced producer who has been successful in getting great ideas onto the screen, having worked with several television and pay TV networks as well as a mentor with Screen NSW.

Bookings for the Clinic are essential, please contact Screenworks on 6687 1599 or email events@screenworks.com.au .

This year’s winner of the pitching competition will get a ticket to the Screen Producers Association’s (SPAA) Fringe conference in Sydney, a place in their pitching competition and the chance to win an airfare to the Cannes Film Festival or any film or TV market in the world.
