Pill made from pine bark can increase women's libido

THE secret to getting women who have lost interest in sex back in the game could be hidden in a pill made from pine bark, scientists in the UK have discovered.

In a clinical trial of the pill Lady Prelox, 86 women with "average sexual function", based on desire, arousal and orgasm, were monitored over four weeks.

According to the Daily Mail, women who had taken the active pill experienced a significant increase on their levels of sexual function while women who took the placebo noticed little difference.

The drug could be made available in Australia as early next year.

Prelox is already used as a supplement for men suffering erectile dysfunction.
