Peter Spencer hosts public talk

Cooma farmer Peter Spencer may have ended his 52-day hunger strike up a wind monitoring tower, but he is still trying to bring attention to the state’s land clearing laws and how they are affecting farmers.

Peter will give a public talk at McKee’s Hill Hall next Tuesday, March 16, entitled Tower of Hope. He is on a 12-week mission across six states to tell his story and present an eight-point People Power Action Plan. At McKee’s Hill Hall he will also launch the Northern Rivers Tower of Hope People Power Movement.

The talk starts at 7pm and tickets are $10 at the door. For information, phone Julia O’Flaherty on 6624 7903.
