Peter Harvey 'has just days to live'

VETERAN news journalist Peter Harvey is reportedly losing his battle with pancreatic cancer.

The 68-year-old Walkley Award winner was admitted to a Sydney hospital is a serious condition on Tuesday.

According to the Herald, sources close to Harvey's family say he could have just days to live.

Following his diagnosis last year, the 60 Minutes favourite said he was determined to "get up and fight" the disease.

Well wishes have flooded Harvey's Twitter account.

His Channel Nine colleagues are expected to send him a special message of support on Wednesday night's news bulletin.
