Peace Train coming to Lismore
Cat Stevens is coming to Lismore! Wow! (Everybody sing!! “I’m being followed by a moonshadow”)
Actually it’s not really Cat Stevens. (Awww…)
But Paul Dillion and The Tillermen recreate the Cat Stevens sound so authentically that you might think that Cat was there in the Lismore Workers Club room.
In the 70s everybody had a Cat Stevens album. His global success was phenomenal until he had enough of the vacuousness of celebrity life, gave it all away and turned to Islam.
Tickets ($28) are now on sale for Wild World (which features the life and songs of Cat Stevens) at the Lismore Workers Club on Thursday, February 25. Phone the club on 6621 7401 for tickets.
The gig starts at 8pm.
