Pauline Hanson fires up at journo over travel question

WHEN Pauline Hanson was asked about politicians rorting their entitlements, she said it "disgusted" her, and she demanded scrutiny and potential punishment for those gaming the system.

But what really fired up the One Nation Leader was a journalist who attempted to suggest Senator Hanson had been travelling the state to "promote" her party.

"You've spent the week travelling the state promoting your party, isn't that a bit much at the moment?"

"Excuse me," she said, cutting off the question.

"I did not travel the state promoting my party

 "The state is my electorate"

"I have been up there fighting for the Canegrowers, for the Indigenous and for the 23 farming families who are going to lose their properties because of Singaporeans and have got nobody else listening to them."

"I was able to get the Prime Minister on the phone to the Canegrowers and they said, 'We've been trying for months to actually get to talk to him' and I did it like that."

She clicks her fingers.

"Don't tell me that I'm travelling the state campaigning.

"My job is to represent the people."

No further questions.
