A FEMALE former Labor MP, accused of misleading a corruption inquiry, will spend at least 12 months in home detention.
Karyn Paluzzano, 52, was the Member for Penrith when she falsely claimed parliamentary sitting day relief payments between 2006 and 2007.
She was later found to have given misleading evidence to a 2010 corruption inquiry.
On Thursday, the Herald reported she was sentenced to a maximum of 18 months home detention, pending the outcome of a suitability assessment.
