Man charged with drink driving after crashing car

A MAN who crashed into a car at Casino night was more than six times the legal blood alcohol limit, police allege.

Lismore police Inspector Susie Johnston said Casino police were called to the car park of a business on Centre St at 9.52pm following reports of a car crash.

Insp Johnston said police allege the 50-year-old man reversed into a parked car then drove forward into some plastic chairs.

Police located the vehicle and spoke to a 50-year-old man who was breath tested and registered a high-range reading of .302.

The man will face Casino Local Court on May 27.
