Orphan appeal

Orphan appeal

Lismore Police and the Hannah Foundation have established an appeal to help the children who saw their parents drown at South Ballina last week.

Joseph and Carole Sherry from Orangeville in Sydney were staying at the South Ballina Caravan Park with their two girls aged 17 and 14 and their son aged 9. Carole got into difficulty in a rip at around 7pm on January 19 and Joseph tried unsuccessfully to rescue her, getting into trouble himself.

Donations over $2 are tax deductible and can be made directly online to the Sherry Orphan Family Appeal at www.hannahsfoundation

.org.au.

They can also be made at any Westpac Bank branch, QPCU - Hannah’s Foundation reference ‘Sherry Orphan Family Appeal’ BSB 034002 account number 333453.
