Organic reggae in Nimbin

Californian roots reggae band Groundation are coming to Nimbin's Bush theatre tonight (Thursday November 4), for a gig with local reggae bands Fyah Walk and Imandan.

Groundation say their music “is an organic fusion of classic roots reggae, heavy funk/jazz fusion, and transcendental dub.” And their live shows are “synonymous with high-energy positive communal vibrations, combining the message and determination of the best reggae music has to offer with perpetually fresh jazz-inspired improvisation.” You can feel Jah's love from 6pm. Tickets are $25 at the door and this is an unlicensed, all-ages gig.

They also play the Beach Hotel in Byron on Friday.
