DUCKING in to grab your double shot, skinny caramel latte on the way to work has never been easier.
Simply tap your order into your Smartphone and pick up your ready-made, pre-paid coffee as you drive past. Yes, it really is that simple.
No queues, no fossicking around for some stray coins in the car, and no time wasted waiting for the barista to work their magic.
The Cherry Tree, on the corner of Fitzroy and Palmerin Sts, is the first Warwick cafe to adopt the txt4coffee app.
Cherry Tree owner Scott Morton said he found it on the App Store and thought it was exactly what Warwick needed.
"I was thinking about making our own, but then I found this one which is free for people to download," Mr Morton said.
"With the way technology is going, everyone wants everything instantly and even for people passing through town, they can look on the app and it will tell them where the closest coffee shop is, and they can order from the car."
Started by a couple of guys in Brisbane, the app went from having 6000 subscribers, to 20,000 in just four weeks.
"It's the way of the future and we're trying to get on the front foot by doing something no one else in Warwick has," Mr Morton said.
Eventually, he wanted to have all menu items available on the app, so ordering lunch or brekky on the go is literally as easy as tap, tap, tap.
