THE Opals will be out to show last week's loss to France in their final warm-up match was an aberation when the teams clash again in London tonight.

The Aussies went down 64-58 in that match, but rested stars Lauren Jackson and Suzy Batkovic.

In their absence, Belinda Snell top scored with 14 points while Liz Cambage and Abby Bishop both finished with nine.

Jackson and Batkovic showed how important they were to the side when the Opals proved far too good for Great Britain in their first pool match yesterday morning, running out 74-58 winners.

Jackson did it at both ends of the court, finishing with a game-high 18 points and leaving her mark on several of her Great Britain opponents with some aggressive play in the paint. She was also on target from outside the arc.

Batkovic chimed in with 12 while emerging star Cambage showed promise despite getting into early foul trouble.

The French side beat Brazil 73-58 in its opening game while the US, which hasn't lost a game at the Olympics for 20 years, beat Croatia 81-56.
