Kyogle's Community Gym is six months old this week and organisers are celebrating because more than 10% of the Kyogle township have joined.

The gym is part of the Active Kyogle project, managed by Kyogle Together in partnership with the Northern NSW Local Health District.

"To have 10% of Kyogle residents join in just six months shows how much the local community supports the gym," Mark Trudinger from Active Kyogle said.

The age of participants ranges from 16 to people in their 80s.

The gym is currently open for six general sessions per week and eight classes, with the Men's Bodyworx classes having expanded to three times per week.

For more information about the gym, visit or call Mark Trudinger on 6632 1833.
