Local band Bandicoot will get the Pumpkin Dance pumping.

It's not Thanksgiving, or any other appropriated North American custom. But the pumpkins and the puns will fly, at the Blue Knob Hall Pumpkin Bush Dance, this Saturday, July 7.

Coinciding with the Blue Knob Farmer's Market second birthday, this old-school bush dance will be squashed with 'called' dances from bush bands.

A fund-raiser for the Blue Knob Art Gallery, it'll include a pumpkin presentation, pumpkin-inspired talent-quest, pumpkin-packed food and bumpkins dancing till they turn into… yeah.

The punkin' begins at 5pm.

Food is included in the entry price, from the Organic Shop in Nimbin - $20 single, $30 couple, $40 family (negotiable).
