Musical and mystical
Returning from their recent European tour, world music artists Peruquois & Praful have embarked on their Breathing Love tour in Australia.
Combining jazz, poetic wisdom and earthly sensuality, singer Peruquois and wind instrumentalist Praful merge East with West; modern with ancient. This is music to inspire. It’s not just a musical experience but also a mystical one.
Peruquois’ voice has been trained in jazz, Native American, Middle Eastern and classical Indian music. She’s released four solo albums and is an international workshop teacher of sacred chant and voice.
Praful is an Indian flute and sax player and a pioneer in the world music community. He has five solo albums and is renown for his work as a composer/producer for Deva Premal.
Tickets are now available for their gig at the Byron Community Centre on Friday, February 12, at 7.30pm.
Tickets are $25 from www.kupromotions.oztix.com.au.
