Mother pleads not guilty to girl's murder

THE mother of slain Sydney school-girl Keisha Weippeart has pleaded not guilty to her murder.

Kristi Anne Abrahams is accused of killing six-year-old Keisha at Mt Druitt in Sydney's west, some time between July and August, 2010.

Keisha's body was found in a shallow grave in April 2011 on what would have been her seventh birthday.

Ms Abrahams entered the plea in the Sydney District Court on Friday.

Her trial has been set for June.
