METGASCO has gone, and residents of The Channon are "breathing a sigh of relief" and holding an Autumn Fair this Saturday to keep the fundraising effort going for the Lock The Gate Alliance.

It will be an opportunity for "rest, dialogue, celebration and reform to adapt to what is needed in the ongoing project of protecting our community and environment," organiser Marie Makinson said.

There will be food, music and a variety of stalls.

Doors will be open 9.30am- 4.30pm and anyone with donations of goods to be sold should call 6688 6533 or 6622 0785.
