May we stay forever changing

For her latest exhibition local artist Philippa Leader has created artworks that affirm positive energy and personal strength. Winds Of Change opens at the Roxy Gallery in Kyogle this Friday, March 19, from 6-8pm.

The purpose of the exhibition is to inspire the viewer to see and choose the next positive move towards completing his or her goal.

“I love the idea of appreciation of the arts as a way of achieving positive energy through music, dancing, singing, writing and poetry,” Philippa said.

As part of her studies in community service, Philippa has investigated ‘strength cards’ which are used to assist in people ascertaining their strengths and what their next step in life may be. The cards have inspired Philippa to show life’s transitions in her art.

Winds Of Change runs till April 10.
