Marshall surfs with the circus

Lennox Head's enigmatic rocker Marshall O'Kell and Mullumbimby's Spaghetti Circus have been announced as headliners at the Surfing the Coldstream Festival in Yamba.

Marshall will be performing just before roots icon Jeff Lang, an honour with which he is justifiably stoked.

Nestled high above Main Beach in town, the free cultural and roots based music event will be held on October 20.

Last year's action drew 4000 punters from all over the North Coast.

Our two local legends will be among the local art installations, roving entertainment and stacks of food stalls utilising local produce in both the Yamba CBD and at the festival site.
