Manny Pacquiao ready to send Floyd Mayweather packing

FILIPINO Manny Pacquiao says he is "100% confident" he can end Floyd Mayweather's unbeaten record in Sunday's mega-fight in Las Vegas.

Both fighters were greeted by thousands of fans as they arrived in the desert city, Pacquiao (pictured) telling a crush of reporters he wasn't nervous despite bookmakers installing the American as a clear favourite.

"Any time I am underdog, I like that," the 36-year-old said. "It means my killer instinct and focus is fully there.

"Other people are getting nervous for me, but I am excited. This is the moment I believe he will experience his first loss."

The fighters are expected to split at least $A250 million, a figure that could increase depending on pay-per-view sales.

Mayweather, already the world's highest-paid athlete, will receive 60% of the final purse.
