Man 'shot friend during an argument': police

POLICE say an "armed and dangerous" man, accused of gunning down his friend in Sydney at the weekend, is on the run.

Graeme Smith, 21, is believed to have shot Joshua George, 24, in the chest during an argument at Claymore on Sunday.

Since the shooting, police have not been able to find Mr Smith, who is described as caucasian, about 170cm tall with short, light brown hair and a solid build.

He has distinct tattoos on his neck.

Anyone who sees Mr Smith should call 000.
