Man fined for graffiti after being caught "tagging" wall

A LISMORE man who police caught tagging the wall of a business with graffiti has been fined.

The 26-year-old was charged with malicious damage over the tag and possessing graffiti implements after he was caught with several tins of spray paint.

The man was was convicted and fined $2000 at Lismore Local Court on the charge of malicious damage.

He was also ordered to pay $300 in compensation and fined $1000 for possessing graffiti implements.
