Make it a Date

The Date Brothers, Ian and Nigel (pictured), return to the Lismore Jazz Club (at the Lismore City Bowling Club) next Thursday, November 12.

Hooray!

Ian, originally a Casino boy, is now based in Ireland. He returns to this wide, oil-spilling land once a year for gigs.

A hot guitarist, Ian has played with the greats – James Morrison, Don Burrows, Tom Baker and George Washingmachine, to name but a few.

His brother Nigel, originally from Byron, is based in Sydney. And he is also a master of the six-stringer, playing with the best jazz musicians and ensembles in Oz. He performed at the Lismore Jazz Club recently with Brisbane combo The Gypsy Swingers. The Date Brothers will be joined in concert by local double bass jockey Jack Thorncraft.

Will be a night of brotherly love and hot licks.

Entry is $15/10 and the riffs start at 7pm.
