Macleod guilty of secretive dealings
COFFS Harbour businessman Andrew Macleod has been found guilty of making a collusive agreement with a disgraced NSW police officer.
Detective Senior Constable Anthony Farrell was working out of the Coffs Harbour station when he agreed to provide Macleod with sensitive police information last year.
Farrell pleaded guilty in a Sydney court last week but Macleod chose to stand trial.
During his trial intercepted phone calls between he and Farrell were tendered in court.
A jury returned a guilty verdict late Monday.
Farrell and Macleod will be sentenced together on November 8.
