Lucky Sunday

The Lucky Wonders (pictured) will launch their debut single Happy Pill when they play the Lennox Point Hotel this Sunday, December 20, from 4pm.

Happy Pill is attracting some controversy but the girls reckon that it’s not about taking or not taking drugs, rather a call for introspection.

The Lucky Wonders have grown to a four-piece outfit with the addition of new drummer Anastassijah Scales, who adds a solid backbeat to the Luckies’ cruisey, feel-good songs.

The Lucky Wonders will be joined by local singer/songwriter Mish and her bluesy, jazz-influenced songs about life and love. She’ll add some tasty trumpet to The Lucky Wonders’ sets.
