FOR the first time in my life, two sets of hands are caressing my body from scalp to big toe.
Unfortunately, those hands do not belong to my celebrity favourites Colin Farrell and Paul Walker.
But not to worry. I am in ecstasy anyway.
Ten fingers at the top of the table are moving fast and furious - working my back, neck, arms and shoulders into submission with strength and confidence.
Ten fingers at the bottom of the table are taking things nice and slow on my legs and feet, ensuing a total recall of a blissful state following some heavy-duty morning exercise.
After conquering our "little Sahara", beachcombing an endless shore, tree-hugging in the forests and strolling up hill and over dale in grassy firebreaks of Fiji's Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park, I am in the middle of a special treat for my worn-out exterior.
The Drua massage at Bebe Spa is a high point of my stay at Outrigger on the Lagoon Resort on Viti Levu's Coral Coast.
And I am now convinced that two sets of hands are definitely better than one … especially for massage purposes.
Bebe (pronounced behm-beh) is the Fijian word for butterfly.
And this is certainly my cocoon sanctuary from the moment I enter the relaxation lounge in a soft white robe and fluffy slippers until the breeze teases my hair in the golf buggy taking the winding path back to the resort.
From the extensive spa menu, I decide on the Drua massage out of curiosity.
Drua means two of a kind or twins in Fijian, and my therapists - tiny Ashika with the wide smile, and glowingly pregnant Nunia - are certainly in sync despite their separate tasks.
They are thorough, concentrating on pressure points and tight areas, and their long, purposeful strokes over the course of an hour create a whole-of-body harmony that is exactly what I need: soothing yet remedial.
So I am more than ready, willing and able to take on the rest of my amazing day in this Coral Coast treasure.
By late afternoon, my tour colleagues regroup for a kava ceremony before sunset margaritas by the beach below the Sundowner Bar as a wedding photographer makes the most of the beautiful light and location for his bride and groom.
As dusk falls, dinner awaits in Vale Ni Kana - the buffet-style restaurant.
The five-star Outrigger on the Lagoon is 80km or about an hour's drive from Nadi International Airport on the Coral Coast of Fiji's main island, Viti Levu.
The 16ha property includes full-service, 207 rooms and 47 bures, seven restaurants and bars (with 24-hour room service), free guest parking, a private lagoon and tropical lagoon-style swimming pool, tour bookings desk, private function rooms and boutique shops.
Bebe Spa has eight treatment rooms featuring private balconies with sunken spa baths and open-air showers.
About 250 weddings are held there each year, with bridal parties and guests from all over the world taking advantage of the picturesque chapel with full glass windows overlooking the resort, beach and lagoon, the private function rooms, on-site accommodation and magnificent backdrops for the all-important wedding photos.
