Loopy microphones

Mr Percival (Darren Percival) is more than a singer – he’s a vocal artist and innovator. He uses a looping pedal to create rich soundscapes and funky grooves which immerse the audience in a deep, layered groove.

Darren has spent 20 years performing and exploring the power and scope of the human voice.

The introduction of a looping pedal shifted Darren’s music from the studio to the stage, and a trip to study with Bobby McFerrin in New York in 2004 saw Darren return home to perform his own looping creations as Mr Percival. After huge shows at Woodford Folk Festival earlier this year, Mr Percival brings his brand new show Microphones to the Mullum Civic Hall this Saturday, March 20, from 8pm.

Tickets are $22/18/12 pre-paid from the venue or at the door (if any left).
