Karate man's achievement award

Local karate teacher Richard Marlin has been honoured with an award recognising his significant contribution to the promotion of martial arts.

Mr Marlin who opened his school ‘Success Martial Arts Black Belt Academy’ in Lismore almost 30 years ago was honoured at the annual Australian Martial Arts Industry Supershow in Sydney recently.

He was invited as one of only a handful of international and national guest speakers and spoke on how to strategically engineer your business.

Fari Salievski, who organised the event congratulated Mr Marlin by saying, “As the god father of Martial Arts business, he was and still is the pioneer of all that we do today.”
