Lismore Garden Club News

The other day in the garage I came upon our big but fake Christmas tree which we paid a couple of hundred dollars for. If only our botanists had discovered, before our purchase, the pocket of what they had once thought extinct – Wollemi pines. For a similar price we could have purchased one of those and put it in a large pot to grace the garden and be used as a truly Aussie Christmas tree.

The Lismore Garden Club annual Christmas dinner is at the Lismore Workers Club next Thursday, December 10, at 6pm. Bookings to Ray by this Sunday, December 6, on 6625 1773.

Finally: “Diplomacy is the art of letting other people have your way.”

Happy gardening
