Life is a cabaret

Byron Bay Theatre Company is presenting Cabaret at the Byron Community Centre.

Set in Berlin in 1930, the Nazis are on the rise, the economy is in crisis and there is poverty and violence on the streets. But inside the Kit Kat Club is a world of exotic fantasy, pleasure, wicked songs and wicked behaviour.

Cabaret is a provocative and thought-provoking love story, a joyous and sexy romp with lavish costumes, dancing, live musicians, circus performance and great songs.

Tickets are $27.50/ $22.50 and there are eight performances from May 13 to May 23. Contact the Community Centre for more info.
