Let the fun and games begin...

LISMORE'S new council got together for the first time on Tuesday night for an informal welcome and induction (and a happy group photo).

After the recent election there are three new councillors on the team; Mathew Scheibel, Glenys Ritchie and Greg Bennett. The council will meet formally for the first time next Tuesday night, October 2, to elect a deputy mayor as well as positions on the three county councils (Rous Water, Far North Coast Weeds and Richmond County Council) and various other internal and external committees.

The first ordinary council meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 9.
