Langing out with Jeff

Chimeradour is Jeff Lang's latest recording - and it's his 16th. That guitar boy certainly keeps pumping 'em out. And guess what? They keep getting better.

Chimeradour was recorded by Aussie producer Mark Opitz (Cold Chisel, INXS, AC/DC, The Angels, Divinyls) and captures the dynamism of Jeff's live performance. The man is accompanied on this recording by hotshots Grant Cummerford on bass and Danny McKenna on drums.

To celebrate the album's release, Jeff will be hitting the road for a run of shows across Australia and will play the Bangalow A&I Hall on Saturday, October 24.

And, as a special bonus, the night will open with a set from Jill Barber - a retro singer from Canada. She has a 50s style and a very cool voice. She has recently released an album, Chances.

The show starts at 8pm.

Tickets are $22 from www.kupromotions.oztix.com.au, Barebones in Bangalow, Mullum Books, and All Music & Vision stores in Byron, Ballina and Lismore.

Or $27 at the door.
