KYLIE Minogue and will.i.am are joining The Voice Australia coaching panel next year.
The two Grammy Award winners, who are currently coaches on the UK version of the show, will join returning coaches Ricky Martin and Joel Madden, Channel 9 announced today.
Minogue said she was excited to be returning home for the show.
"I look forward to spending time in Australia, getting up close and personal with new talent and working alongside the three amazing artists: Ricky, Joel and will.i.am," she said.
Pop princess Minogue will fill the obligatory female seat on the singing talent show, with Delta Goodrem taking a year off of the show to focus on her music career.
But Goodrem will remain with the TV franchise as a coach on the inaugural series of The Voice Kids.
Madden will be working double time on both the adult and kid shows.
Charismatic coach Seal, who won the first two series of the show with his artists Karise Eden and Harrison Craig, is taking a year off from the show completely to also focus on his music.
"To my Australian fans, sorry to not be back for this upcoming season but I wanted this window of time to focus on a number of exciting career priorities - a new album, a TV and internet project and, most importantly, precious time with my children," Seal said in a statement.
The Voice Kids will feature singers aged 8 to 14 and be hosted by Darren McMullen, who will also continue to host the adult show.
