Kiss & sing

Since the 2004 release of his debut album Last Light at age 21, it's been a steady rise on the Australian music scene for Melbourne's Jaimi Faulkner (pictured). He's toured both here and overseas, won the Australian Blues/Roots Performer of the Year, represented Australia at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, performed at major festivals, and supported Chris Whitely, Jeff Martin and Chris Isaak.

Now he's on the road again promoting his new album Kiss & Ride.

Jaimi and his band will play the Lennox Point Hotel this Saturday, October 31, from 9.30pm; and The Rails in Byron this Sunday, November 1, from 6.30pm.

Freebie: The Echo has a copy of Kiss & Ride to give away to a lucky reader. To go in the draw to win, phone 6622 2888 between 10.15am and 10.30am next Monday, November 2, and tell us the age Jaimi is now.
