Kim Kardashian hires a new wedding planner

KIM Kardashian and Kanye West have decided to hire a new wedding planner instead of her friend Sharon Sacks, who organised her wedding to Kris Humphries in 2011.

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star turned to her mother Kris Jenner's close friend Sharon Sacks to organise most of her lavish events in the past, including her wedding to Kris Humphries in 2011, but she and fiancé Kanye West want to go in a "different direction" for their wedding this summer.

A source told E! News: "Kim and Kanye have decided not to use Sharon Sacks as they want to try a different direction from her usual style."

Sharon also planned Kim's baby shower last June, her sister Khloe Kardashian's wedding to her now estranged husband Lamar Odom in 2009, and multiple Kardashian/Jenner birthday parties including her Kylie Jenner's sweet sixteen bash in August.

The couple are currently in Paris together, where they are viewing a number of potential venues for their nuptials.

The source said: "They are going to spend a few days looking at weddings venues in and around Paris. They are also going to do some shopping. They are really excited to find the right place for their nuptials. They are looking at a summer wedding."

Kanye, 36, jetted to the French capital on Thursday (16.01.14), to attend shows at menswear Paris Fashion Week, while Kim joined him there on Saturday afternoon (18.01.14).

The duo, who have left their seven-month-old daughter North West in Los Angeles with family, were spotted enjoying a romantic lunch at popular celebrity restaurant L'Avenue before enjoying a private visit to the Palace of Versailles on Sunday (19.01.14).
