Grace Jones at Bluesfest 2011

WE'LL all be slaves to the rhythm at Bluesfest next year with Grace Jones added to the already massive line-up.

The movie star, model and Grammy-nominated singer is the last to be added to the bill before Christmas.

Festival director Peter Noble said: “We've announced Grace on her own because she's not just a being, Grace Jones is a happening.”

The Jamaican-American has released 10 albums over her illustrious career, with her biggest albums released in the early 1980s, including Nightclubbing, Living My Life and Slave to the Rhythm.

As an actress, Jones starred alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in Conan the Destroyer, who reportedly said the actress was tougher than Conan.

Mr Noble said season tickets were looking to sell out by the middle of next week, leaving only day passes for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
