Jarrah doin' it for Afghan women

You can support the women of Afghanistan (and what better way to help the situation there) by attending a concert with Jarrah (pictured), a singer/songwriter whose soulful acoustic music comes straight from a heart aligned with the plight of all women – and all souls – on this evolving planet.

The concert is at Birth & Beyond in Cullen St, Nimbin, this Friday, April 9, and will begin with Bob Oort on acoustic guitar playing music from Celtic and Arabic traditions.

As well as the two musical performances, there’ll be gorgeous food available from Radical Faeries and an auction of Afghani handicrafts.

Doors open at 6.30pm; the concert runs from 7-9pm. All proceeds go to the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA).
