REALITY television star and singer Reece Mastin was the second big pop star to drop by the 2013 Australian Scout Jamboree this week to perform before a crowd of more than 12,000 scouts and leaders on Thursday night.

The former X-Factor winner flew in to Hervey Bay on Thursday before heading to Maryborough Showgrounds and spending the afternoon with excited scouts.

Only a day before, pop star and former Australia's Got Talent contestant Tim-o-matic danced and sang his way across the event's main stage to help officially open the jamboree.

The main stage will see comedy on Friday night and a battle of the bands on Saturday night.

Fireworks will close the event on January 12.
