Lara can't afford another bingle

MODEL-turned reality TV star Lara Bingle can officially add serial road pest to her list of titles after being warned by a Sydney judge on Tuesday she would be jailed if she continued to break the rules.

The unlicensed 25-year-old, whose car struck a woman motorcyclist at Bondi Beach earlier this year, pleaded guilty in the Waverley Local Court to three traffic offences.

For a woman who had a chauffeur-driven black Jaguar waiting for her outside, a $3500 fine may not have provided much of a deterrent, but Magistrate John Williams hoped stern words and a 12-month driving suspension would do the trick.

He told Bingle her driving record was "not good" and warned she would face jail if she drove during the suspension period.

Artist Rosanna Pimm uses 3500 porcelain tampons to created her large scale performance installation Riots of Passage in The Quad as part of The Lismore Women's Festival on International Women's Day. Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
