A MAN has been flown to the Gold Coast Hospital in a critical condition after falling off a horse at Jackadgery.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman said they received a call just after noon reporting a man had been thrown from a horse.
"We sent two units and a helicopter was on route immediately," he said.
"On the scene the patient was assessed as serious."
The spokesman said the 65-year-old man's condition deteriorated to a critical condition while the helicopter was en route to the rural location.
THE Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was tasked to Jackadgery where a 65-year-old man was injured in a fall from a horse.
The aircraft is re-fuelling at the Lismore Helibase en route to transporting the patient to the Gold Coast Hospital.
