Instrumentalists wanted

The Alstonville Concert Band is looking for new players. This band of talented musicians has been playing together for over four years and performs regularly in the local area, playing at the Alstonville Anzac Day ceremony and the Alstonville Show.

The band also fundraises for worthwhile causes. (Legacy, Lismore PCYC, Victorian Bushfire Appeal, Lismore Breast Cancer Support Group.)

Vocalist Dean Doyle regularly sings and plays trombone with the band, which performs music ranging from tunes from musicals to Dixieland; from classical to rock.

The band is particularly looking for an experienced drummer/percussionist and a bass guitar player (as well as players of flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trombones and trumpets).

Rehearsals are held on Monday nights in the Alstonville RSL Sub-Branch Hall from 7.30-9.30pm. For more info phone John Sewell on 6628 7774.
