Humans of New York photo goes viral, as "Beyoncé" complains

A HUMANS of New York photograph of a girl called Beyoncé has gone viral.

The teenager said she sometimes hates her name "because it always draws attention to me" and "every time people learn my name is Beyoncé, somebody starts singing 'Single Ladies.'"


Her comments sparked comments from thousands of other Facebook users, some of which who share names or similar names with celebrities or characters.

Anniken Hundvik wrote: "My name sounds like Anakin when you pronounce it in English. I worked in the Norwegian pavilion at Epcot in Orlando, and the question was always: 'Is your last name Skywalker?'

"To top it all of; my birthday is May 4th... So from 'Anakin' to you; May the fourth be with you."

Bridgett Jones said: "If I had a dollar for every time someone asked me about my diary..."

And a woman who shares the same first and last name as former Destiny's Child member, Kelly Rowland wrote: "I feel you honey!!"
