HE'S 22, laid back, and looking for somewhere to live.

Sam's pretty flexible really. He's okay with smoking, is pet friendly and he doesn't mind sharing a place with guys or girls.

Just as long as you're a nice person - oh, and good looking.

In an ad he posted on Gumtree Sam B said he was heading for the big city after life on the Coast lost its lustre.

"Been a local on the Coast for 5 years now, some good times but I've outgrown this illusion of paradise and searching for new lands," his ad read.

"I'm just looking for decent human beings who are easy on the eyes kind respectful honest & fair."

Sam's might be aiming a bit high with his criteria.

Sam said he was looking for somewhere on the outskirts of Brisbane, "central yet quiet", but he's 6'3" so he needs a bit of space.

The ad was posted to Reddit where it drew criticism for being "hilariously douchey".

While most commenters focussed on Sam's desire to live with attractive people and his need to highlight his "hulking Viking frame" sandiskmicrosd was more practical.

"$150 a week? Central, double room with ensuite?"

Unlikely.
