Hot hick chicks hustle A'ville

The Hussy Hicks (pictured) are fantastic. Unbelievably good singing combined with equally brilliant guitar work. Julz and Leesa rock! And they’ll turn the Federal Hotel in Alstonville on its head when the Hicks play there this Sunday, December 27, from 2.30pm.

Special guests Brooke Supple and Jimmi Nolan will also perform.

The Hussy Hicks have, as usual, spent much of the year continent hopping and have a swag of new songs (and a largish carbon footprint) which they’ll play at the gig so you get to hear them before those songs are released on the girls’ new album due for release early next year.

Brooke Supple and Jimmi Nolan have been based in the UK for the past five years and have toured all across Europe. Brooke’s dance rendition of Joni Mitchell’s Big Yellow Taxi recently went number one in Japan.

The Hussy Hicks will also perform at that most delicious of lifestyle treats, Woodford Folk Festival (December 27-January 1).

Be there if you can.
