Hillary Clinton hospitalised with blood clot

THE United States' Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was taken to hospital on Monday after a doctor found a blood clot during a routine exam.

A statement from her office released on Monday confirmed Secretary Clinton was being treated with anti-coagulants in a New York hospital.

She will be kept in hospital for two days to be monitored by doctors.
